Chinese hip-hop burst finally into the realms of respect and "props" recently when Chinese rapper Jin (pinyin Jing) came to Beijing, fresh from several conclusive and startling rap battle victories in the US!

Jin IS Chinese, despite never having lived in China, and being American, but that doesn't matter, and anyone who says otherwise is a malicious troublemaker, who is probably a raving racist. Anyway, anyone who followed Jin's early career, or in particular the lyrics to his early songs...

...may be forgiven for thinking that Jin relies heavily on his ethnicity for everything - we already know about the promotion side of things - but that would be unfair probably.

Indeed, Jin has already had to overcome serious racial insults in his previous rap battles, just like Eminem must have done maybe once. When one rapper reverted to ethnic slurs about Jin being Chinese, Jin quick wittedly scored a coup de grace , with the comeback :

"You say I'm Chinese, but check yo' Timbs, they probably say made in China!"

...WHAM!!! That opponent must have felt awful, with Jin highlighting the fact that China is awash with dirt-poor, cheap, unskilled labour which is being used by multi-national companies! It will be a long, long while before that opponent says anything negative about China again.

"Hey. Word? you say me being Chinese is bad? What you chattin' bout? Beijing's traffic system is badly planned and cause hold-ups at major intersections nearly all day!"

"Yo! What up. You say I'm from China, well check the stats, China has 16 of the World's 20 most polluted cities!!"

"Hey Yo! You dissin' me being Chinese, well pay attention to these charts...China has an embarrassing Gini coefficient, as well as widespread respiratory problems and government corruption!!!"

If you know Jin, then please pass these on for him to use! Free of charge, and with no licensing or publishing to worry about! Whatever it takes to defend China's honour.
